NFL Divisional Round

By Zac Cornell

Bengals at Titans

The Bengals have won their first playoff game in over 30 years after Joe Burrow played a fantastic game against the Raiders. Sensational rookie receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been unstoppable alongside other stars Tee Higgins and Joe Mixon on the offense. On the defensive side, pass rusher Trey Hendrickson has been a force. A once highly questionable signing in the offseason has clearly been a good signing. The Bengals are one of the most exciting teams in the league and they will look to take down the number one seed on Saturday.

The Titans received a first round bye after winning the AFC. Their first playoff matchup is against the Bengals and it’s going to be a tough matchup. The Titans hope to have superstar running back Derrick Henry back for the game, but if he’s not, AJ Brown and Julio Jones will hopefully have big performances to carry the Titans to a victory.

Prediction: Titans win

Bills at Chiefs

The Bills will rematch the Chiefs after losing to them in the conference finals a year ago. Both the Bills and Chiefs dominated their opponents in the first round of the playoffs. The Bills whooped the Patriots in the freezing weather, and the Chiefs smacked the Steelers, sending Big Ben into retirement. The game should be a shootout between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

Prediction: Chiefs win

49ers at Packers

The 49ers had a tight game against the Dallas Cowboys, but came out victorious in the end. The Niners gave the ball to Deebo Samuel and let him do his thing throughout the game. Not only was he catching balls, but he was lining up as a running back too! They have so many offensive weapons; they are really dangerous.

The Packers had a first round bye and are looking to win the Super Bowl this year. Anything short of winning the Super Bowl is a failure. After losing to the Buccaneers last year and Rodgers having a tantrum in the offseason, it didn’t seem likely to see the Packers in a similar position. But here they are and they are coming for revenge.

Prediction: Packers win

Cardinals/Rams at Buccaneers

Whoever plays the Buccaneers next Sunday will have a good chance at competing. Both the Cardinals and Rams have strong enough offenses to over power the Bucs defense. But can they stop the Bucs offense? The Eagles struggled heavily at stopping Tom Brady. Even without AB, Godwin, and Fournette, Brady still finds a way to dominate. This game is going to be a great one regardless of who the opponent is.

Prediction: Buccaneers win
